Yesterday I took a short trip to Delhi. Monsoon is in full glory at this time of year. The rain clasped flowers, the wet, fresh earth all seemed like God has come down to paint everything green. The small water pools springing out here and there. One such pond had profusely blossoming white lotuses symbolising the rains as a means of purity , serenity, The thunder, the lightening, the clouds, the mountains everything seemed like out of a post card.
Rain.....Rains have an amazing quality to turn everything mundane to extraordinary! How it does all this just with a few showers is amazing. Seeing the nature at work with so much of harmony my senses heightened and seemed like the showers were catharsis to my not so calm soul. The endless green stretches, the lilies in full bloom, the clouds hugging the sturdy mountain tops, the soaked train tracks, huts and most resplendent of all the silvery blue Sky torn apart in glory by the streaks of lightening were really very healing. I realized I can stand and watch this for the rest of my life. It would be just so perfect and so harmonies just like the Nature and Rains to sit around here with your lover and gasp at the shimmering beauty of the dazzling Mother Earth.
